First Aid at Work Initial Training Course (2-3 days)

Course Introduction

During this course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of First Aid situations, including assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures and anaphylaxis.

This Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification meets the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

This course is for companies with higher hazard levels such as working with machinery, in warehouses, COSHH handling, construction or businesses with high levels of staff.

The training focuses on life-saving skills that can be applied across any working environment.

The candidates will learn about their responsibilities as a First Aider and what to do at the scene of an emergency or someone becomes ill at work.

By the end of the training the candidates will have the confidence to deal with an accident or illness whether at home or at work.
